This stuff was especially nasty. Non-alcoholic tequila is the hardest ask in the whole zero-proof aisle: so much of agave’s smoke and bite comes from the spirit itself that most attempts land somewhere between vegetal and medicinal. Even grading on that curve, this one stands out for the wrong reasons. If you want the shape of a margarita without the alcohol, build it from something else entirely.
