Fine, but not fantastic. Nanny State is one of the older names in non-alcoholic beer, and it tastes like it: perfectly drinkable, never quite interesting. A hoppy golden ale is a sensible thing to attempt without alcohol, and this clears the bar without ever threatening to clear it comfortably. If it’s what’s in the fridge you’ll drink it happily enough — it just doesn’t earn a special trip.
